PhD Must be Earned from Doctoral Schools of NHEI, Implementing "Tertiary Education Hierarchy"
Higher Education is Organised in 3 Stages/Levels: Bachelor to Master to PhD. (The Three Academic Bars on each Arms of the Academic Gown). Many wished to be a PhD holder but taking the degree in Alternative schools that has a Questionable Standard does not add to a good reputation and believable -credential. In principle, admission to a PhD programme generally requires a relevant completed Master's degree. In our Institution, a Doctoral Degree is the prerequisite degree. 
WHO ARE SIGNING YOUR PhD DIPLOMA/TOR?
Since the Academic Diploma & TOR are Lifetime Credentials of the Graduates.The Degrees of The Graduate School Dean and the other Official Signatories are a valuable asset, and added credence to the document. Hence,the signatory degrees are an important element to appear in the signed documents. A PhD Diploma/TOR requires an Earned PhD. It should not be Honoris Causa.

PhD-IM PREREQUISITE DEGREE: Doctor of Naturopathy (ND) or Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (NMD) or its Equivalent
AT IBMS IMSIM, the Prerequisite Degree to gain an Approval to enter the PhD-IM Post-Doctorate program, is the Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (NMD) Degree (or its equivalent Doctoral academic Degrees) based on our Ladderized Academic Program. Pls. write a Formal Letter of Intent to the Graduate School Dean. TAKING DOCTORAL RESEARCH-BASED DEGREE IN A SCHOOL THAT ACQUIRES INSTITUTIONAL MATURITY OVER THE YEARS (41 YEARS EDUCATIONAL EXISTENCE) IBMS IMSIM's Doctoral program: PhD-IM is a Dissertation-Based Doctorate. Academic Requirement to Graduation in PhD (Integrative Medicine) program requires a 150 pages Dissertation (in Book Format only) and completion of all courses with a total of 81 academic units , Equivalent to three years program. Fast Track program however, can complete degree in 1-2 yrs depending on the students pace of learning . |
Holding a Lesser Degree than an Earned PhD in Official Signatories, Appearing in Alternative PhD Diploma is A "Questionable PhD Diploma /TOR".

NATUROPATHIC SCHOOLS WITH NO BACHELOR AND MASTER’S GRADUATES OVER THE YEARS ARE NOT QUALIFIED TO OFFER DOCTORATES

Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) operates in an education system of "hierarchically-structured Degrees" .Academic programs as: Bachelor to Master's degree to Doctorate. A School Cannot Confer a Doctoral degree in the absence of an underlying Bachelor and Master’s program (and graduates) operating over the years. To offer a“Doctorate” program without the lower Academic degree programs (as Bach/Master) is not a true doctoral program, instead it is tantamount to a post- Secondary (after High school) Vocational institutions* (as TESDA Tech-Voc Philippine schools), where secondary education is the entry requirement and these schools offers program lower than a Bachelor . Even if a school is registered with DOH-PITACH, Any post-secondary Certificate or Diploma program is not technically an “Academic degree” (as a Doctorate) it is plainly a certificate or diploma- level program. NHEIs schools must go through different Institutional Stages and Maturity : graduating Bachelors over the years, then later Master's , and finally the school offers Doctoral program . Institutional Maturity gives credence to an Educational institution Today we see Naturopathic Schools violating this educational pattern and suddenly emerged in the field, proudly offering doctorates without a proof of graduates in the lower programs over the years. Naturopathic Associations : Naturopathic associations irregardless of the size of membership cannot offer “academic degrees” out of their seminars and makes “doctors”.
